Scanner built for real homes
FORMA combines a wall- or stand-mounted capture unit with guided mobile software. You follow on-screen poses; our pipeline builds a textured mesh and derives circumferences along anatomical planes—without requiring a dedicated studio or technician.
Depth camera
Structured-light depth paired with RGB frames captures silhouette and surface detail. On-device preview confirms pose alignment before upload.
AI reconstruction
Multi-view fusion fits a parametric body mesh, then refines contours for measurement extraction. Confidence bands accompany every estimate.
Measurements
Chest, waist, hips, thighs, arms, calves, and more—logged to your timeline. Compare scans side-by-side with heat-mapped deltas.
Accuracy
Honest precision
In simulated testing across diverse body models, major circumferences typically land within roughly ±0.5–1 cm on average, with some measurements (like inseam on certain body types) varying up to ~3–4 cm in worst cases. Real-world validation against physical tape measurements is ongoing. Clothing, lighting, pose, and body shape affect results, which may vary more than lab conditions. FORMA is a wellness tool—not a medical diagnostic device.
We publish methodology notes for enterprise customers and continuously evaluate model performance across diverse shapes. Single scans are one data point; trends over weeks matter most.

Consumer HIPAA
Standard consumer accounts are not HIPAA-covered. Enterprise agreements with covered entities may include additional controls— see our privacy policy.
