No. Forma provides wellness and fitness measurements and estimates. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

In controlled conditions, major circumferences typically align within about ±1–2 cm of careful tape measures for many adult body types. Clothing, lighting, pose, and body shape affect results. Always treat single scans as one data point in a trend.

Standard consumer FORMA accounts are not covered by HIPAA. Enterprise agreements with covered entities may include BAAs and additional controls—contact [email protected]. We do not claim HIPAA compliance for the consumer product.

Only your account by default. Family profiles live under your login with owner/edit/view access levels. PDF and CSV exports are per-profile. You can create revocable coach/share links from Family that expire automatically; we do not sell personal scan data.

Most guided captures finish in under two minutes after calibration. First-time setup usually takes 10–15 minutes.

We design for a wide range of adult shapes and continuously expand validation. Extremely limited mobility or environments that prevent guided poses may reduce quality—our app will warn you when capture confidence is low.
